AFC Golden Shellac Flakes provide a depth of color and a quality finish that makes timber look beautiful
Shellac is one of the oldest finishes available and is still used to produce the classic finishes on antique furniture.
Shellac beautifies timber surfaces in a way that no other finish can duplicate. It brings out the rich warmth of wood grain so that finished surfaces look soft and natural with a warm amber glow.
When mixed correctly it can be brushed on, sprayed on, or French polished.
Our Golden Shellac is an excellent sealer because it sticks to almost anything. It can be finished with a coat of good quality beeswax polish.
AFC Golden Shellac Flakes have good clarity and compatibility with most finishes, is easy to rub out, and easy to repair with additional shellac.
A shellac finish is a great choice for restoring antiques, wood crafts and musical instruments.
